GARDEN CLUB DISCUSSES 1 MONEY RAISING PROJECTS The Highlands Garden Club held its monthly meeting Feb ruary 18 in the Women's Aux iliary Room of the Highlands Community Hospital. The proposed constitution was unamiously accepted. Several money raising proj ects were discussed and it was voted that the garden club sponsor a booth in the Women's Exchange; such booth to handle garden tools and supplies. It was also voted that the club sponsor a garden tour this slim mer, the tour to include points of beauty and interest in and around Highlands. Mrs. J. M. Valentine was named chairman. Her committee consists of Mrs. John H. C. Perry, Mrs. Lise for Kinston to visit Mr. and Mrs. Warren Perry and family. Misses Shirley Cloer and Patti Lou Phillips, who attend West ern Carolina College, Cullowhee, were home for the week-end. With an average of 59 cents per pupil, Mrs. P. N. Shearouse's room won the prize. The school collected a total of $112.23.
