Miss Josephine Dalton, who is teaching in Oastonia, spent the week-end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joel Dalton. Ed Slagle, Macon Native, Succumbs In Boise, Idaho Bd Slagle, a Macon native who left here some 40 years ago. died March 16 in a nurs- ; ing home in Boise, Idaho, ac- j cording to word received here l by his niece, Mrs. Cecil Miller, I of Franklin. Mr. Slagle, who was the son j ?f Sidney R. and Mrs. Margaret I K. Slagle. was a veteran of the Spanish-American War and j served many years in the army. including duty in the Philip pines and Alaska. He is survived by a sister, Mrs. J. H. Sellers, of Prentiss, a brother, Jim 81agle, of On tario, Calif , and a number of nieces and nephews! Ellijay Mr. and Mrs. Earl Henry and Mr. and Mrs. O.
