T.PHILLIPS DIES SUNDAY AT HIS HOME Rites For Macon Native Held Monday At Bethel Church Samuel Taylor Phillips, 83-yeai old Macon native and farmer, died Sunday at his home in the Bethel community following an illness of 10 days. Funeral services for Mr. Phil lips were conducted Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Bethel Methodist Church, of which he was a member. Offici ating were the Rev. David Bark ley. the Rev. R. L. Polndexter, and the Rev. W. L. Sorrells. Burial was in the church ceme tery. Born January 1. 1870, he was the son of Samuel T. and Mrs. tmanda Vanhook Phillips.
