Plans for the promotion of the program in the individual communities also are being dis cussed by the agents and com munity leaders. The new pro gram ? started here last month ? is designed to put extension services on a more personal basis with farm families through three new extension workers, who are working with individual families. Agents meeting with the com munities include Mrs. Florence S. Sherrill, home agent, County Agent T. H. Fagg, and the three new associate agents hired for the program, Mrs. Margaret D Smith, John J. Wrinn, and Rob ert McNeil. One meeting already has been held. This one was Monday at Nantahala. All are set for 7:30 o'clock, according to the agents. CASE'S RITES HELD Macon Native Dies At Home Of Son; Is Buried At Rush Funeral services for Mrs Daisy McPherson Cabe. 75. who died Monday of last week, at the home of her son, George Robert Cabe. on Franklin. Route 2. were conducted the fo^owing Wednesday at 2:30 p. m.. at the Union Methodist Church. The Rev. R. L. Poindexter and the Rev Bryan Hatchett offi ciated. and burial was in the Rush Cemetery. Born October 25. 1879. Mrs. Cabe was the daughter of Rob ert and Mrs. Sarah Angel Mc Pherson. of the Riverside com munity. She was married to James T. Cabe March 22. 1905. She was a member of the Mor rison Presbyterian Church. In addition to her son, Mrs. Cabe is survived by three daugh- ! ters, Mrs. Nellie Whitner, of Clarksville, Ga., Mrs. J. B. Led ford, of Walhalla. S. C., and Mrs. Melvin McCoy, of Sedro WooUey, Wash., and a brother, | Walter McPherson, of Tacoma, Wash. Serving as pallbearers were James Mason, Gene Bateman, Bennie B.
