DEMONSTRATION CLUB WILL MEET TONIGHT The home demonstration club of Highlands will meet Thursday lyght. December 16. at 7:30 p.m. at the old school house in the recreation room. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Cooledge are spending a few days at their home on Whiteside. Mr. and Mrs. O. W. McConnell plan to spend the Christmas holi days with their son and daughter in-law in Coconut Grove. Fla. They will leave December 17. Methodist Spruce Is Community Tree The large spruce on the lawn of the Highlands Methodist Church will again be a commun ity Christmas tree. Johnston, Jr., unofficially shut down the De cember term of Superior Court here Wednesday of last week after disposing of the criminal docket in two and a half days.
