Christmas plays were arranged
and dates were set so the mem
bers of the churches in the com
munity can attend each others
program.

Of Town Fire House And Lot
The Town of Franklin has re
jected all offers for the old fire
house and property at the intei
-section of Iotla and Church
Streets.
At auction December 1. a bid
of . $4,000 by H. L. Bryant was
high. However. Town Clerk C. O
Ramsey said aldermen have re
jected it. The only other bidder,
the Rev. W. N. Cook, offered
$2,000.
