Biddle assisted in serving. MISS HENRY IS BRIDE OF RUSSELL M'KELVEY Miss Betty Henry, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Henry, of Franklin, Route 5, and Russell McKelvey, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. E. McKelvey, of Franklin, were married Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the chapel of the First Baptist Church. The Rev. M. W. Chapman, pas tor of the church, performed the double ring ceremony. A program of wedding music was- given by Miss Audrey Hays, vocalist, and Mrs. H. W. Cabe, pianis-t. The bride entered the chapel j alone. She wore a suit of light l blue with white accessories and ! carried a white Bible topped with . an orchid with satin streamers. Miss Dorothy Medlin, of Char- i | lotte and Franklin, served as maid of honor. She wore a pink faille dress with navy velvet bolero, anc! her accei ssories were navy. She carried a nosegray of mixed pas tel flowers, tied with blue satin ribbon. Herbert McKelvey served as his brother's best man. Gary McKel- j vey, brother of the groom, was usher. The mother of the bride wore a blue suit and her corsage was I of red roses. The groom's mother wore a dress of grey taffeta and her corsage was of pink carna tions. Following the ceremony, the j parents of the groom gave a re ception at their home on White Oak Street. Assisting in serving were Mrs. William Philips, Mrs. Rufus Snyder. Miss Jane Zickgraf. and Miss Ann Henry, sister of the bride. Mrs. Walter Hall. Jr.. kept the bride's book. Out-of-town guests here for the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Chandler, grandparents of th groom, and Miss Alice Chandler, aunt of the groom, all of Donal sonville, Ga. Mrs. McKelvey is a graduate of Franklin High School and at tended Woman's College of the University of North Carolina. Greensboro. She is now employed by Art Furniture Company in Macon, Ga. Mr. McKelvey is a graduate of Franklin High School, attended Georgia Tech, Atlanta, and is now a student at Mercer University, Macon. She carried a white Bible topped with a white orchid and satin streamers. Miss Sue Hopper, of Highlands, was maid of honor. She wore a pink ballerina-length dress witn matching headress. She carried a bouquet of pink and white car nations with blue satin streamers. R. R. Cunningham, of Franklin, was best man. Ushers were Sam Cunningham, of Cornelia. Ga . and Neville Wooten, of Franklin. Following the ceremony, the couple received in the rear of the church. Out-of-town guests included Mr. and Mrs. Harry Lee Cunningham, of Cornelia. The bride's mother choose for her daughter's wedding a grey suit, with which she wore aqua accessories. She wore a corsage of talisman roses.
