M'GAHA (Community Reporter) The Cowee Rural Community Development Organization held its first meeting of the new year January 6 and committees chair- . men were selected. Mrs. Florence S. Sherrill, coun ty home agent, and Mrs. Jessie D. Cabe, assistant agent, appeared on the program. Mrs. Sherrill stressed the importance of road side beautification while Mrs. Cabe showed illustrating slides. Mrs. Davis's Mother 1 Dies On Visit Here Mrs. Helen Anna Beckley Zieg ler, 56. of Nutley, N. J., died sud denly January 4 at the home of her daughter. Mrs. John Davis, in Franklin. She and her husband, Robert R. Ziegler, had been visit ing here for six weeks. Services were conducted in Nut ley. In addition to her daughter and husband, Mrs. Ziegler is survived by two sons, Robert R? Jr., and Kenneth L, of Nutley. a half-sister, Mrs. Louise Lewis, of Westfield, N. J., and two grandchildren.
