Burley Men To Discuss Marketing A meeting of Macon County, , tobacco growers has been called for Tuesday night to hear an explanation of this year's allot ment program and marketing quotas, and to discuss the ap proaching referendum on April 28 on whether they favor decreased allotments. The meeting will begin at 8 o'clock at the Agricultural Build ing. J. H. Enloe, Jr., field man for the Agricultural Stabllzatlon and Conservation, will preside. Soap Carving Exhibit Shown Soap carvings entered in a nation-wide contest sponsored by Scholastic Magazine are on dis play In the lobby at Franklin High School. The exhibit, /which includes some of the winning entries and unusual carvings, is to be sent on to another school Friday, ac cording to Mrs. S. F. Beck, art teacher, who arranged to have it sent here. Meanwhile, Mrs. Beck's students are now busy soap carving and will open an exhibit of their own to the public soon.
