40, Dies; Rites
Held Monday i
Glover Britt Reynolds, 40, of 1
Franklin, Route 1, died at his
home Saturday at 1:15 p. m.,
following an illness of two and
a half months.
A native of Clay County,
where he attended the Elk High
School, Mr. Reynolds was a
construction worker.
Survivors include his widow,
the former Miss Virginia Len- 1
oir; a son, Kenneth Leon Reyn
olds; a daughter, Miss Glenda
Sue Reynolds, both of whom
live at the home; his mother,
Mrs. Alice McCarthy, of Frank
lin, Route 1; and two half- ]
sisters, Mrs. Robert Hawks, of |
Franklin, Route 1, and .Mattie J
Jacobs, of Detroit, Mich.
Funeral services were held
Monday at 2 p. m. at the .
Mount Hope Baptist Church, of
which he was a member. The
Rev. M. C. Wyatt was the of
i ficiating minister, and pall
! bearers were Hilton Wallace,
Benny Lenoir, Willy Lenoir, Jess
Leatherwood, Bill Lenoir, and
Henry Harrison. Burial was in
| the Mount Zion cemetery.
Funeral arrangements were
under the direction of Potts
Funeral Home.
