Only white Amoco-Gas
passes the lead
fouling test ?
?- ' v?i*?
THESE UNRETOUCHED PHOTOS PROVE that only white unleaded Amoco-Gas
prevents lead fouling in your car. All other high octane motor fuels contain lead.
This lead doesn't all burn. It forms crusty lead deposits that foul the engine and
waste power. That goes for any leaded gasoline, regardless of its fancy color, fancy pump, or
fancy name. Only unleaded Amoco-Gas, refined to give you the highest natural octane on the
road? all that any car can use ? Guarantees No Lead Fouling and 100% Power.
LEAD FOULING? Crusty lead deposits
on pistons, after 42,168 miles running with
a nationally-sold leaded premium gasoline.
NO LEAD FOULING? Clean piston
from identical type engine after 45,423 miles
running with white unleaded Amoco-Gas.
