MORRISON SUCCUMBS IN TWINCUY Macon Native Had Restaurant There; Survivors Given Leroy Morrison. 49, a native of Macon County, died in a Winston Salem hospital Sunday after suf fering a stroke Saturday night. He operated a restaurant and had other business interests ill Winston -Salem, where he' made bis home. He was the son of Mrs. Marga ret Ann Meadows Morrison and the late Jamas M Morrison of the Oak Grove section. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to the widow. Mrs. Haael Adams Morri son, are two sons, Billy and Kelly Joe, and a daughter, Miss Mar tha Morrison, all of the home: the mother; two sisters, Mrs. Furman Guy. of Franklin. Route 3. and Mrs. Charles Matlock, of Winston Salem; and two grandchildren. Poor crop stands are often caused by factors other than wea ther. Music Club Has Guest Program The July meeting of the Frank lin Music Study Club featured an all-guest program presented by Mrs. Weimar Jones, program lead er for the month. Dr. Mann's topic was "War and Words". He placed special emphas is on the power of words in changing the thoughts and sug gestions of a person's mind. The Reds used this power on a few G.
