Dealer Nos. 830 and 830-A
Measurements on the burley
tobacco designated Acreage Re
serve began Monday, March 17,
according to Miss Mildred Corbin,
office manager of the local A.S.C.
office.
There are 48 farms to be visited
and checked. Qnly the designated
acreage will be measured now.
This acreage should be staked off
and ready for measurement when
the reporter arrives at the farm,
she said. The base acreage for
each farm will not be measured
before June. Producers who signed
up in the Acreage Reserve have
a premitted acreage of base crops,
which cannot be exceeded. All
producers know their base and
are reminded to not exceed it or
j a violation will be on that farm.
