Community Meet
The August meeting of the
Iotla Rural Community Devel
opment organization will be
held Monday night, August 11,
at 7:30 o'clock at the picnic
area. Business to be taken up
will include plans for gravel
ling a road Into the picnic area,
the building of a shelter, instal
lation of a meter for electricity,
and .the construction of a booth
for the educational department
of the fair.
Going To Camp
Brent Southards, member of
the Iotla Community 4-H Club,
has been chosen as one of four
club members from Macon
County to attend leadership
camp at Swan nan oa next week.
He will receive instructions in
art, crafts, and recreation,
which he will teach to other
club members when he returns.
Brent has completed projects in
Tree Identification, Crafts, and
Home Safety during his three
years in 4-H Club wort He Is
the son of Mr. and Mrs. John
C. Southards, of Route 3.
