Funeral services for Berlin C.
Pruett, Sr.. who died Tuesday of
last week In a Franklin hospital,
were conducted Thursday after
noon at the Sugarfork Baptist
Church by the Rev W. A. Cloer,
the Rev. C. C. Welch, the Rev.
Fred Sorrells, and the Rev. Jarvis
Underwood.
Burial was In the church ceme
tery. Pallbearers were Charlie
Moore, John Dal ton. Hubert Reld.
Hunter Young, Lex Arnold, and
Jess Thompson.
Mr. Pruett, 50, of Route 1, was
a native of Macon County and
had been In construction work

A native of Cherokee County
and resident of this county since
1935, Mr. Derreberry died Tuesday
of last week at his home follow
ing a long Illness. He was a
farmer.
