Ellijay News Items Mrs. Leslie Tounj Correspondent Course Finished The Ellijay Missionary Baptist Church completed its study course on the book, "A Study of the Oospel of Mark", Sunday night. The Rev. C. T. Taylor con ducted the course and eight mem bers of the church are eligible for certificates. Persona Is S/Sgt. Ben Moffitt has com pleted a special training course at Chanute Air Base. Miss Margie Hall, both of whom work in the record department at Memorial Hospital in Charlotte. Mr. and Mrs. L. B. Oran and children visited their parents in Knoxville. Tenn., recently. Mrs. Ed Henry is spending sev eral weeks in Elizabethton. Tenn.. with her daughter, Mrs. Mac Merritt, who is ill. Convalescing this week are Mrs. W. R. Pressley and Mrs. George Stalcup. Marshall Woods, son of Mr. and Mrs. Zene Woods, is recovering from a cut hand! Mrs. Gene Pickens, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Canton Henry, has returned to the States after spend ing the past year in Germany with her husband, who is in the Army there.
