Howdy Folks:
I think it's my duty as
your 'Ole Country Groeery
man to warn you about some
high prices. If, after you
read this, you want to pay
such prices for stuff, then
I'm not to blame ? 'cause I'm
warnin' you. Now just how
much do you think you pay
per bushel for corn, potatoes
and peanuts? When you pay
10c for 1 oz. of potato chips
? 5c for %-oz. popcorn ? 5c
for %-oz. peanuts? Or how
many 10c boxes of crackers
do you suppose a bushel of
wheat would make? How
much do you pay for a gal
lon of water when you pay
10c for a 6-oz. 'soda pop?
Think of payin' 20c per oz.
to have coffee ground so you
drink the coffee instead of
the juice ? (good though).
How many cans of chicken
soup would a big fat hen
make? (I'm not talkin' about
this chicken noodle soup ? I ?
well, you may know of chick
ens that have noodles ? not
me I. I get dizzy when I get
to figurin' such things ? but
now that I've warned you ?
do as you please. I have
these and many more just
as bad to sell. Come in and
see for yourself.
