Higdonville And Cullasaja Saater Service T7k public is invited to attend the Easter sunrise service at Culla saja School Easter morning at 6:30. The Rev. R. L. Polndexter. of the Franklin Methodist Circuit: the Rev. R. E. Stevenson, of the Cullasaja Assembly of Ood Church; the Rev. Jarvis Under wood, of Sugarfork Baptist Church; and the Rev. Fred N. Sorrells, of the Franklin Assem bly of Ood Church, will participate In the program. A choir, composed of people served by the CuLlasaja school district, will present a pro gram of special Easter music, with Prltchard Russell In charge. Sherrlll gave a demonstration on "See Your Home In a New Light", using a film strip and samples of light fixtures for Illustration, at last Thursday's meeting of the Hlgdon vllle Home Demonstration Club. Ten members were present. Mrs. Fred Corbln, president, presided. Mrs. Ann Berry was hostess to the club at her home. Tentative plans were made for the county dress review, which will be held at Cullasaja School April 29. Hlgdonvllle club will be one of the hostess clubs. Mrs. Bryson Honored Cullasaja community is very proud of Mrs. Vernon Bryson, 4-H leader, who was honored at 4-H Achievement Day Saturday for her outstanding work with the 4-H'ers of this community. She has given unselfishly of her time and energy for the past few years to help the boys and girls of this community have one of the best 4-H clubs in the county. She was presented a bouquet of red roses by the 4-H county council Satur day night. Mrs. Bryson. Mrs. Dewitt i Thompson, and Miss Helen Woods helped the Cullasaja 4-H'ers pre- J pare their float for Saturday's parade. Plan Working Friday (tomorrow) has been set for another working on the grounds at Higdonville Baptist Church. They are seeding the grounds and landscaping. A ?group will also meet to wash the church windows. Given Founding The Rev. and Mrs. R. E. Steven son were given a grocery pound ing Friday night by members of the Cullasaja Assembly of God Church, of which Mr. Stevenson is pastor. The Stevensons Just moved into the community. Mrs. Leona Sadler has just re turned from a two-week visit in Charlotte with her daughter and son-in-law. Mr. and Mrs. Bil. Lewis. Recently here for ?<$ week's visit with his parents.
