Miss Sarah Jean Sutton Is Bride Of Larry Bryant Potts Saturday Miss Sarah" Jean Sutton, daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles S. Sutton, became the bride of Larry Bryant Potts, son of Mrs. G. B. Woodward and the late Joseph T. Potts, in a candlelight cere mony at the First Methodist Ch.u.vh at 6 o'clock last Sutur- j day evening. ? i: e Rev. L. B. Hijr: s. assisted by uev. Roberjl L. Early, perform- 1 ed the double-ring ceremony. Wedding music was presented .by Mrs. H. W. Cabe, organist, and Bill Mendenhall, soloist. Mr. Men denhall sang "Whither Thou Goest" and "The Lord's Prayer". The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of Chantilly lace over net and satin with a rounded neck i.e and long sleeves. Her finger ip veil of illusion was attached o a satin cap trimmed with lacs ?rd stedpearls. She carried a white; Bible topped with a white orchid and stephnotis attached to white satin streamers. Miss Nancy Sutton, twin sister of the bride, was maid of honor and only attendant. She wore a dress of white organdy over satin i with pale green embroidery and matching green cummerbund and slippers. Her headdress was a green net cap with a short reil. and she carried white and green carnations. Robert Alexander served as best j man and ushers were Jerry Sut- ' ton, brother of the bride, and j Bruce Houston. The bride's mother wore a dress of blue lace over taffeta with white accessories and a corsage of white carnations. The bridegroom's mother wore a dress of pink lace with pink and white accessories and a cor sage of pink and white carnations. For going away, the bride chose a two-piece, black and white polka dot dress, with black patent bag and slippers, and the corsage de tached from her bridal bouquet. Mrs. Potts is a graduate of Franklin High School and Pack Square Beauty School in Ashe ville. For the past year she has been employed in the Darling Beauty Shop in Franklin. Mr. Potts is a graduate of Franklin High School and of the National School of Heavy Equip ment in Charlotte. He is now employed by the Southeastern | Cpnstruction Company in Gaines ville, Ga.
