The initial 1 measurement is free to the farmer. However, if the farmer desires a remeasurement he must deposit $8. If he is planted in excess of his allotment he must make a deposit of $5. All tobacco grown on the farm must be measured, including chewing tobacco, which would be charged to the burley allotment. Farmers planted in ex cess of their allotment will be notified just as soon as the measurements are made and the computations made. All disposition of excess acreage must be made in the presence of an AS.C. repre sentative. The excess must be made in a uniform shape of a square, rectangle, or triangle running parallel with the rows. The procedures and methods used in determining acreage and performance in connection with tobacco and Soil Bank is admin istered through the A.S.C. state and county committees.
