Mr. and Mrs. T. T. Henderson 1 arrived home last Thursday after B taking an 18<lay tour of the west. f which took them 7,650 miles. They 1 visited the Badlands of South Dakota: Yellowstone National s Park; Seattle, Wash.; toured r Oregon and California; in Sail Franciaco and Los Angeles took j guided tours. They took a guided tour of Disneyland, which proved j to be one of the most interesting i t sights of (their Whole trip, accord- f to Mrs. Henderson. They visited Is Yosemite National Park and saw j c the redwood and sequoia tree.s and returned home by way of Grand Canyon. Mr. and Mrs. Henderson, who live on a farm, were particularly impressed with the beautiful farms and the fine cattle and sheep they saw. Miss Bertha Bumgarner is re ported somewhat improved after undergoing an appendectomy op eration at Highlands Community Hospital last week. Miss Benoni Crouch, of Shreve port, La., is visiting her aunt, Mrs. Leona Sadler. Mrs. V. C. Ramey and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Southards and j daughter, of Atlanta, were here j for the week end.
