The theme will be "Faith Is a Family; Affair". Makes Improvements The Cullasaja Assembly of God Church has bought new chairs for the Sunday school rooms. The parsonage also has been under pinned. Tuesday night a business meet ing was held at the church to discuss building more Sunday school rooms and other improve ment on the church property. They sans a song they had learned from their sixth grade song book. They have also been studying the life of James Whitcomb Riley and a stu dent recited one of his poems. During the business session, the group decided to buy door mats, towel racks, and shades for the classrooms with the money made at the Hallowe'en carnival. Open house was held with the parents visiting in the classrooms with their children's teachers. Mrs. George Mallonee was elect ed treasurer to succeed Mrs. Ann Berry, who resigned because she is unable to attend the meetings since she broke her leg. Mrs. Ted Higdon was .elected secretary to succeed Mrs. Evelyn Brysoh, who resigned because cf other duties. A committee on free lunches was selected to determine whether a child is entitled to free lunches. Bethel Methodist Church was in charge of the devotional. The group enjoyed the talk made by Bethel's pastor, the Rev. Aubrey Brown. . Refreshments were served. Plays Basketball Cullasaja School played basket bail with Union boys and girls last Friday afternoon at Union School. Cullasaja boys were victorious, 29 !9. The week end of November 7 found Ann Pennington, Anne Dean, Alice Bradley, and Barbara Duncan visiting the campuses of Wake Forest College, Winston Salem. and Woman's College. Greensboro. The girls visited FHS graduates on both campuses, at tended church services at Wake Forest, and a performance by the college theater group at Woman's College. Last week end, Barbara Duncan went to Agnes Scott, where she attended u school dance and visited classrooms.
