A county-wide Brotherhood mass
meeting will be held at Cowee
Baptist. Church tonight, February
25, at 7:30 pjn.. with J. H Brook
shire, associational Brotherhood
president, in charge.
The theme fnr the meeting will
be "Personal Soul Winning" and
the piiKtor. the Rev. Clyde Collins,
will discuss approaches in person
al soul winning.
The Rev. Otis Orr. pastor of
Well's Orove Baptist Church, will
deliver the message and special
music win be rendered by the men
of Iotla Baptist Church.

munity Hospital in Sylva. was able
to return home last Friday.
Mrs. Clyde Collins spent a few
days last week with her daughter,
Mrs. William Lee, and family in
Asheville.
Mrs. Ardenia Allen, of Alts, Ga?
visited Mrs. John H. Dalton last
week end.
Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Tippett, of
Pontiac, Mich., were here for the
past week because of the illness
of Mr. Tippett's parents, Mr. and
Mrs. J. A. Tippett.
After spending the past three
months in Winston-Salem with her
daughters. Mrs. J. R. Holbrook re
turned to her heme last Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Raby and
two children, of> the U. S. Air
Force. Austin, Tex., are spending
a week's leave with their parents.
Mr. and Mrs. Everette Raby and
Mr. and Mrs. Derald Queen. Mr.
Raby will leave next week for a
month's special training in Illinois,
and Mrs. Raby and children will
remain here.

be by the guest speaker, who will
be announced later.
The Cherokee Indian Angecy
will be requested to give permis
sion to hol4 services inside the
neW gymnasium in the event the
weather indicates indoor services.
The Indian choir will sing two
songs at the Easter service.
Waynesville High School Band
will be invited to participate in
the program again this year. Mem
bers of the Cherokee Klwanis
Club will be .Invited to serve as
ushers.
Coffee and doughnuts will be
served the congregation again this
year, it was announced.
The Easter service at Cherokee
is sponsored by the ministers of
Western North Carolina. Moun
tainside Theatre is provided by the
Cherokee Historical Association,
Inc., a non-profit organization.

third Friday in each month and
are conducted by the young people,
attending.
Next month's meeting will be
held at the Bates' place between
Otto and Franklin with the Rev.
Roy Smiley presiding, according
to Mrs. E. L. Sterner, youth di
rector, of Mountain Rest. S. C.
