At the benefit sponsored by the
P -T.A. at Cowee School last Sat
urday night, approximately $126
was received to pay on the new
stage curtains for the school.
Miss Margaret Holbrook was
the winner of the fishing rod given
for a door prize and Ricky Broa
den won the charcoal grill.
The "pretty girl cake" went to
Miss Mildred Jones, and the
"ugly man cake" to Everette Raby.
