William Earl Adams Earl Adams is personnel su- j pervisor o f Franklin Hosiery Company. A native of I?urham. he attended l>iirham publif schools aind is a graduate of Catawba College, Salisbury'. Prior to this he serve*! four years in the U. S. Navy. He joined Hurl ing ton Hosiery Company in June 1955, at Wadesboro Hos iery Company, where he was personnel supervisor until June, 1958, when he came to Franklin. Mr. Adams is a deacon and president of the Men of the Church of the Presbyterian church, a member of the Jay cees, and is president of the Franklin United >Fand. He is married to the former Miss Ann Jester, of Thomasville, and they have one child, Bill, ty-. Paul L. Grier Paul L. Grier is the indus- j trial engineer at FrankMn Hos iery Company. A native of Clov er, S. C? Mr. Grier attended : (Mover High School and the I'niversity of South Carolina. Following his graduation from college, Mr. Grier served as a U. S. Navy officer from 1955 to 1957, with service in Europe. Before reporting to Franklin in January, he had served as in dustrial engineer at Harriman ; Hosiery Company, Harriman, Tenn., amother unit of Burling ton Hosiery Company. He is a . member of the Presbyterian church here and is treasurer ?f the Junior Chamber of Com merce. He is married to the for mer Miss Jane Reld, of Clover. Dan F. Stewart I>an F. Stewart is a knitting supervisor at Franklin Hosiery Company. He is a native of Harriman, Trnn., and a veteran of 23 years in the hosiery in dustry. Mr. Stewart attended Harriinan public schools and the Alevtnder Hamilton Admin istrative Course. He joined Burl ington Hosiery Company in 194G at the Harriman Hosiery Com pany, which was acquired by Burlington in 1944, while Mr. Stewart was serving in the Air Force during World War 11. He is a deacon in the Baptist church. He and his wife, Imo gens, have three children, Don na, Dolores, and Dan, Jr. Clyde Ellis Poole Clyde E. Poole is a knitting supervisor at Franklin Hosiery Company. He was born In Har , riman, Tenn., where he entered i the hosiery manufacture ring business In 1934. He joined Burlington Hosiery Company when the Ilarriman Hosier? Company was acquired by Burl ingtnn in 1944. Before coming to .Franklin in 1956, Mr. Poole was a member of the manu facturing staff of Scottsboro Hosiery Company, Scottsboro, Ala., another Burlington hos iery pi int. He served with the U. S. Army for four years dur ing World War U. He is a mem ber of the Bapist church and member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Mr. Poole is mar ried to the former Miss Willie Melton and they have two chil dren, Donna, 12, and Pat, 14. William H. Jones William Harvey Jones is a knitting supervisor at Franklin Hosiery Company and a veteran of 22 years of manufacturing experience with various Burl ington Hosiery Company plants. He is a native of Christiansburg, Va. He was educated in Christ iansburg public schools and Lin coln Extension Institute. Mr. Jones is a member of the Bap tist church and has been ac tive in Boy Scout work for the past 15 years. He is married to the former Miss Charlotte An drews, of Roanoke, Va. Thomas B. Collier Thomas Barden Collier is a knitting supervisor at Franklin Hosiery Company. Born in t'hadbourn, Mr. Collier was ed ucated in Chadbourn schools and at North Carolina State College. He joined Burlington Hosiery Company in September 1955, at Harriman Hosiery Com pany, Ilarriman, Temn., and came to .Franklin in April 1956. He is a military veteran, having served as an Army officer for two years. A deacon in the First Baptist Church, Mr. Col lier also is vice-president of the Junior Chamber of Commerce. A native of Swepsonville, he rot his start in the hosiery knitting industry in Burlington in 1926 and was a supervisor in the May - McEwen - Kaiser Company when that hosiery company was acquired by Burlington Hosiery Company in 1948. Prior to com ing to Franklin in June of 1959, he was greige goods supervisor at McEwen Hosiery Company in Burlington. Mr. White is mar ried to the former Miss Maujde Cromer, of Moore County. He and Mrs. White have four chil dren. He is a member of the Baptist church. Robert 0. Willard Robert O. Willard is inspect ing-mending supervisor at Franklin Hosiery Company. He was born in Laurens, S. C., and attended Abbeville, S. C., public schools and is a graduate of Clemson College. He joined Burl ington Hosiery Company in June, 1956, at Harriman, Tenn. Before coming to Fraftklin, be was a knitting supervisor at the Scottsboro Hosiery Company, Scottsboro, Ala. He is a member , of the Church of Christ.
