Here And There In Ridgecrest And Watauga MRS. ED CRAWFORD 'Staff Correspondent The Rldgecrest Baptist Church is engaged in a revival this week under the leadership of the Rev. James Downs, of Canton. Services start nightly at 7:30 o'clock. The Rldgecrest Baptist Church closed its ten day vacation Bible School Saturday night with its commencement exercises. After the exercises the school held pen house and showed the exhibits made by the pupils. Refreshments were served by the intermediate class. The school had u total en rollment of 62 pupils with an average daily attendance of 59, according to the principal, Mrs. John Smith. The Watauga Baptist Church reelected the Rev. W. K. Shields to serve as its pastor for the coming year. The Ridgecrest Baptist Church elected officers and teachers for the Sunday School and Training Union. Crawford On Leave Sgt. and Mrs. Hudie C. Craw ford and children; Larry. They flew from Schwein- j furt, Germany, where Sgt. Craw j ford has been stationed with the . US.
