While here he and Fred visited another broth er, M. N. Hannah, in Leices ter. Mr. and Mrs. Carroll G. Moore and children, of Atlanta, Ga.. visited Mr. Moore's aunt, Mrs. Harley Stewart, last Sat' urday. Miss Jane McCluney, of Clayton, Ga., spent the week end with the Fred Hannahs. A music teacher in Rabun County, Ga., she was guest pianist at the Fatten church Sunday. Harley Stewart and Charlie Moore left Tuesday for Crystal River, Fla., on business. While there they will visit an uncle, the Rev. Jim Moore, at Day tona Beach. News From Nantahala Mrs. Wayne Trammell and M.S. Odear Allison, members of the Nantahala Parent-Teach ers Association attended the P.-T.A. study course at the Cowee Elementary school Fri day, November 4. The Nantahala school was closed two days last week. Tuesday, the 8th, the election was held in the gymnasium. Wednesday, the water pipes froze and, broke and the chil dren were returned to their homes for the day. Frank Neal has returned home after spending a week in California. Connie Roper, of Atlanta, Ga., spent the week end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Roper. Raleigh McMahan, of High Point, is spending a few weeks at home with his wife and family. Billy Dills, Of Atlanta, Ga., spent last week end with his | parents, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd1 1 Dills. Eugene A. Cope, of Lufkin, Tex., spent last week end visit ing Mr. and Mis. John H. Dill Grant, who recently suf fered a stroke at his home in the Patridge Creek community. Bill May, of Robbinsville, re cently visited his mother, Mrs. Norene May. Mi's. Anna Boone, of Cullo whee. spent a few days visit ing at her home in the Otter Creek community this week. Visiting her while here were her grandshildren, Mr. and Mrs. Dave Buchanan, of Balti more, Md? and Mr. and1 Mrs. Kenneth Boone and children, of Ohio. Mrs. Boone plans to ac company Mr. and Mrs. Boone back to Ohio where her son, Monroe Boone, and her daugh ter, Mrs. Paul Williams, are both reported to be very ill.
