The management of THE PRESS considers this another step in providing a better news paper for its subscribers, a program instituted several months ago when the change was made from seven to eight columns per page to provide more space for news. To provide a more readable newspaper, a new Ludlow type casting machine for headUnes and advertisements recently was Installed in the newspaper composing room, along with a typesetting machine that pro vides a variety of type faces.
