of the Holly Springs Home De
monstration Club at her home
Thursday, December 8. at 1:30
p. m. The recreation leaders
will be in charge of this meet
ing, which will consist of gam
es and the annual Christmas
party, at which time gifts will
be exchanged and "secret pals"
revealed.

ing Saturday night. This cli
maxed a candy sale by the
group, which netted the build
ing fund $50.
The W.M.U. of the HoUy
Springs Baptist Church con
ducted services each night last
week In prayer for the Lottie
Moon Christmas Fund for fore
ign missions. Following the pro
gram Friday night at the home
of Mrs. David Sutton, the wo
men were served refreshments
and exchanged gifts. The of
fering amounted to approxi
mately $56.
Monday night at the First
Baptist Church, the Holly
Springs Training Union was
represented by 46 of Its mem
bers at the mass meeting. Jim
Williamson, director, accepted
the attendance banner.
