Master Carl Rogers, seven-year-old, has come to Cameron to make his home with his aunt, Mrs. Laura Rogers—since the passing of his mother, Mrs. Fuller Rogers, of Siler City, who left twelve motherless children. Carl is a little homesick at present, but we hope that wili soon pass, for he has a good home, with good and kind-hearted people. Mr. and Mrs. James Rogers, of Sonfard, spent Sunday at the home of Mrs. Laura Rogers and family. The Merry Makers enjoyed a pleas ant evening last week, with Miss Elizabeth Ray. The Cameron ministrels are booked for Olivia, Friday night. Nuff sed. They are a scream. Miss Minnie Muse spent Saturday night with Misses Sallie and Bess Cameron on route 1. Mrs. Lula Muse and Miss Annie Borst returned Saturday from Rae- ford, where they were delegates to the Presbyterial, and are loud in their praises of the reception tendered, of the delightful, splendid, and edifying talks, made by the intellectual,, cultur- er and extensively traveled, who were present; of the inspiring music so well rendered, of the many courtesies extended; of the generous hospitality displayed.
