TO MY GOOD FRIENDS OF MOORE COUNTY IN MEMORY OF MY BROTHER In sad but loving remembrance of my dear brother, Fred Lewis Short, who departed this life five years ago to day, April 26, 1926. Five years ago today my brother left us, Left the ones he loved so well. But some day we ho^ tcj meet him And together we will dwell. How we miss you dear brother. We miss you in every way, But we hope to meet you again In a better land some day. There is a vacant place in our home That never can be filled. There is a voice in our home That is never still. We will always miss you. Miss the one we loved so well, But we hope to meet you in a happy piece And together we shall dwell. Now sleep on and take your rest. We loved you, But God knew best, b t... A Brother, DAN C. SHORT.
