Curtis Muse spend several days in town last week visiting his grand mother, Mrs. Alex Muse and left Mon day. He enters the U. N. C. this week. Miss Myrtie Muse returned to Ox ford Monday morning to resume her work there, after spending several days with her mother. Mrs. R. E. McDowell will be re membered as Miss Grace Bradford who was Moore County’s popular and efficient Home Economic Agent for several years. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Seawell left Monday for Wake Forest where Mr. Seawell will resume his law studies. Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Davis, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Womble and Mrs. Flora Black spent Sunday in Charlotte. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Waddill, of Clay ton spent Sunday in town with Mr. Wadditl’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Waddill. Mrs. 0. F. Landiss returned to her home Saturday after spending the week with her sister, Mrs. W. T. Jonei. Mr. McPhail, of Sanford was a vis itor in town Sunday. Miss Lillian Pleasants and Mrs. El lis, of Aberdeen, were in town shop ping Friday. Little Miss Ann Muse returned to Raleigh Wednesday after spending a week with her aunt, Mrs. Joe Wom ble. Miss Gladys Watson left for G. C. W. in Greensboro where she will re sume her studies. Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Pleasants spent Sunday in Siler City with Mrs. J. T. Ellis. Mrs. Frank Blue, Mrs. N. A. Mc- Keithen, Miss Cornie McLeod and Jim Pleasants were Raleigh visitors Thurs day. Miss Flora McDonald, who is a member of the faculty of the Elise high school, spent the week-end at home. Sandy Jones of Glendon was in town Saturday. N. A. McKeithen, Jr., spent the week-end with his parents. Miss Mary Glen Tyson left Friday for Hendersonville, where she will be a member of the school faculty. Miss Dorothy Tyson, accompanied by her mother, Mrs. T. B. Tyson, left Monday morning for Greensboro where Miss Tyson will enter N. C. C. W. Mrs. Nelia Black and Tom Black spent last week visiting Mrs. Andrew Bateman in Lynchburg, Va. Mrs. Tom Wicker and Mrs. Carlos McLeod, of Sanford spent Friday with Mrs. Mollie Person. Mrs. Dan King and Miss Maggie Wicker of Sanford were the guest?, of Mrs. Franak Blue, Friday. Mr. and Mrs. E. T. McKeithen, of Aberdeen were in town Monday. Temple Dalrymple, Dwight Currie and Albert Lang leave this week for Chapel Hill to enter the University. Mr. and Mrs. Hiram Adams, of Hamlet were in town for the week end. Mrs. B. C. Wallace spent Monday in Raleigh. Miss Annie Reid Yow, of Sanford, spent the week-end with home folks.
