Hon. and Mrs. Stacy Brewer, of Vass, were callers last week at the home of the correspondent. Miss Bertie May went to Asheboro Monday to resume her work as music teacher in the high school there after spending the holidays here with Mrs. Flora Black. Miss Janie Underwood, of Sanford, and Miss Mary Underwood, of Au gusta, Ga., visited friends in town this week. Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Currie spent Saturday in Sanford. Mr. and Mrs. L. B. McKeithen, of Cameron, attended services at the Presbyterian church here Sunday. Miss Kate Bryan and Mrs. Eva Acree, of Jonesboro, were visitors at Mrs. W. R. Clegg’s Sunday. Rev. Mr. J. A.
