Cottingham of Carthage received news last Thursday of the sudden death of her mother, which occurred -at the home of her daughter, Mrs- Stone Anderson, in Cheraw. The Baptist Intermediate Christian Endeavor Society held a picnic at Manley Spring Wednesday afternoon.
