The annual picnic of the Community
Church Sunday School is being held
this Friday evening at Juniper Lake.
With anything approaching good
weather a large attendance is assur
ed as these get-together occasions are
very much enjoyed by all ages. The
Ladies’ Tri-U class is donating swim
ming privileges for all, and will con
tribute ice cream as the climax to the
supper.

Scouts Roy Kelly, Bill Cole and Hol

two weeks at Camp Steere, eighteen
miles out of Charlotte.
Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Kennedy went
to Roaring Gap last week. After a
few days’ stay Mr. Kennedy return
