Dodge, is making a satisfactory re covery from a recent operation in a Baltimore hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Clark and daughters, Stewart. The Misses Idell' and Estelle Mc Kenzie left Wednesday for New York City and Bethlehem, N. H. They will be away two weeks. Ellis Fields and Colin and John K. McKenzie are in Statesville this week, representing the local fire department at the State Firemen’s convention.
