a number of her fiends oh last Sat
urday evening when she entertained
at her home on Page Hill celebrating
her 13th birthday. Those present
were Misses Lida Duke Blue, Mar
cella Folley, Betsy Johnson,, Mabel Be-
thune, Eloise Lineberry and Henry
Lewis Johnson, Charlton .Huntley,
Jerry McKeithen, Billie Bethune and
John Edward Pleasants.

on last Tuesday afternoon at her home
on High street in Aberdeen, with 14

the club had received from Mrs. T. B.
Upchurch of Raeford, the district

men’s Clubs, and which matter was
taken under advisement. Mrs. W. A.
Blue read an interesting article on
bulbs, and an enjoyable Round Ta
ble discussion was indulged in by the
members on the subject of October
Gardens.
A delightful social hour followed the
meeting during which the hostess
served refreshments.
