Tally, registered druggist of Jonesboro has opened a drug store in the Thomas-Womack building, to be known as the “Tally Drug Co.” Cam eron now boasts of two drug stores. Mr. and Mrs. George McDermott visited their aunt, Mrs. Annie Jane Kelly of Southern Pines last Sun day. The cafe of Stanley Graham was br.oken into Sunday night, and a few groceries, cigarettes, etc taken. Mr. and Mrs. S. D. Walker have rented apaitments in the home of Miss Katie Harrington for this winter. Miss Lola Thomasson of Route 1, has accepted a position with the Coffee Shop at Southern Pines. The Rev. and Mrs. M. D. McNeil! were dinner guests last Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. H. D. Cameron of South ern Pines. Mr. McNeill had filled his regular ‘ appointment at Manley church in the morning. They have an unusually large and well attended Sunday School, and are without any Sunday Schools rooms, which handi caps the w'ork greatly. A fine oppor tunity for some one to forward the Christian help of young people! Andrew Muse Hemphill, after an absence of three weeks due to an appe^ndicitis operatiory, returned to Presbyterian Junior College at Max- ton last Sunday.
