Wicker notes that the Monday with Emergency Judge Thom-, county commissioners have planned to as J. Shaw presiding. Judge Shaw was commissioned by Governor Eh- ringhaus to hold this court d\>e to b conflict in the district which mac'e it impossible for Judge H. Hoyle Sink to be in this county. The lightest docket of recent years faced the court and around a fourth of these cases were continue J on the opening day. The following judgnientr were ordered on Monday: G. Ober & Sons versus R. C. and M. G. Dalrymple: Ordered that the plaintiff recover judgment of the de fendant R. C. Dalrymple in the s\im of $310.69 with interest from June 2, 1924 until paid, together with the cost of the action. Joseph Levey vs. A. L. Luff, de fendant, and Page Trust Co., garni shee; ordered that plaintiff recovei judgment of the defendant in the sum of $276.83. have the Hoke-Moore county line definitely ;markcd, and offers the suggestion that while the job is be ing done it be done thoroughly and says that if not more than $50 is available to do it, more money should be gathered up so that the line can be tied in with the govern ment survey that ha.s laid down a pos itive line from Savannah to Nor folk, following the Seaboard railroad, passing through the east side of Moore county. He might have gone further and emphasized his proposition with the statement that when Fort Bragg was established Capt. McNaid with a corps of government surveyors from the Geodetic Survey, made a com plete job of precise survey of the entire areu covered by Fort Bragg and tied the work in with the geol ogical survey which covers the east Alumni to Gather Former Farm Life School Pu pils Will Banquet on Sat urday Evening, Feb. 24. The annual alumni banquet of the Sandhill Farm Life School will be held in the club room on Sat urday evening, February 24, at 7:30 o’clock. J. R. McQueen, a Sandhills resident who is great ly beloved by Farm Life students, is to be present and speak to the gathering. Notices are being mailed to all who.se homes appear on the alum, ni roll, but due to the fact that all of the school records were de stroyed by fire a few years ago, the list is incomplete.
