NOTICE OF FORECLOSURE SALE
Under and by virtue of the power
of sale contained in a certain deed
of trust, executed by J. D. Frink
and wife, Helen W. Frink, to G. C.
Seymour, Trustee for Aberdeen
Building and Loan Association, un
der date of November 14, 1930, which
deed of trust is recorded in the of
fice of the Register of Deeds of oMore
County, North Carolina, in Book 50
at page 138, to which reference is
hereby made, default having been
made in the payment of the indebted
ness secured by said deed of trust,
and the power of sale therein con
tained having become operative, and
the holder of the note thereby secur
ed having requested and dmanded the
undersigned Trustee to foreclose said
deed of trust and to offer the real
estate therein describd for sale, in
order to satisfy the indebtedness due,
as in said deed of trust prescribed.
Now, therefore, pursuant to said
demand and request, and because of
said default in the payment as afore
said, the undersigned Trustee will of
fer for sale at public auction, at the
main entrance of the Court House in
the Town of Carthage, North Caro
lina, at the hour of Noon, on the
18th day of September, 1934, the fol
lowing described real estate, towit:
"Lying and being situated on Rush
Street, in the Town of Aberdeen, and
described as follows:
Beginning at a point on Rush
Street where the Alleyway running
at the back of the lot which fronts on
Poplar Street and parallel with the
lots running on Rush Street, Inter
sects with Rush Street and 20 ft.
East from the Southeastern edge of
Lot No. 22 of a subdivision known as
Park Place; runs thence in a north
erly direction along said Alleyway
165 ft. to another 20 ft. street; runs
thence along the Southern edge of
said Alleyway in an Easterly direc
tion 50 feet; thence in a southerly di
rection 165 feet to Rush Street; thence
Westerly along Rush Street to the
beginning, and being the lot describ
ed as Lot No. 55 on a map entitled
“Park Place, Aberdeen, N. C.,"

The above named defendants, and
all other persons, claiming any in
terest in the subject matter thereof,
will take notice that an action entit
led as above has been commenced in
the Superior Court of Moore County,
N. C., to foreclose five certain tax
sales certificates and liens for taxes
held by the Town of Southern Pines
for the years 1927, 1928, 1929, 1930
and 1931 mentioned in the Complaint
against those certain lots of land, ly
ing and being in McNeills Township,
Moore County, Southem Pines, N. C.,
and more particularly described as
follows:
Being Lot No. 57 in West Southem
Pines Addition as shown on a naap
in the Register’s office at Carthage
in Book 74, at page 701, said lot be
ing 50x100 feet.
And all of whom will further take
notice that they are required to ap
pear before the Clerk of the Super
ior Court at his office in the Court
House in Carthage, Moore County,
and present and defend their respec
tive claims within six months from
date hereof, or be forever barred
from any and all interest therein or
claims in or to the proceeds from a
sale thereof.
