Dr. McBrayer Long Prominent in Medical and Civic Affairs Is Official of North Carolina Tuberculosis Ass’n. and Slate Medical Society Dr. Louis Burgin McBrayer, own er of the McBrayer Building infor mally dedicated this week by the op ening of J^he Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company’s store, has long played a prominent part in medical affairs in North Caroiinii and in civic affairs in this section. Born in Buncombe county Decem ber 27th, 1868, the son of Adolphus and Lou Case McBrayer. he attended Judson College in Henderson from 1883 to 1886, and received his M. D. degree at the University of Louisville, Kentucky in 1889. He married Miss Lillian Cordie Deaver of Asheville in 1890 and they have three children. Reuben A., Mrs. P. P. McCain and Louis B. McBrayer.
