Mr. and Mrs. David Hoskins and family returned last week from Bal timore where they spent the sum mer. Mr. and Mrs. Squires arrived in Southern Pines last Thursday after spending the summer in Pennsylvan ia and New York state. On their way here they stopped in Green.sboro to leave their daughter, Miss Alice Ma. rie Squires at the University where she will enter upon her Senior year’s work. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kahlor and family and Mr. and Mrs. David Hos kins and family spent the week-end at Kure Beach. Herbert Cutter spent last week end at Carolina Beach. Miss Mary Grace Pothick left for Sweet Briar College Monday.
