Nashville On Wednesday of this

The theme of the meeting was
“Some Present Day Problems in a
Changing Social Program,” and ad
dresses were made by a number of
prominent welfare workers.

returned to their home on May

The fish are biting as never before,
according to local fishermen return
ing from New River Inlet, Brown's
Inlet and Bogue Inlet along the Caro
lina coast. Kingfish, macxerel and
bluefish have arrived by the thous
ands and some record catches have
been made the past week. Henry A.
Page, Jr., of Aberdeen, with a party,
caught over 100 mackerel in one day
last week. |

Bogue Inlet say they have never seen
such enormous schools as there are I
at present, and they are unable to ac
