We are simply saying, in other words, that if our cus tomers insure us the necessary income for us to do business, it will enable us to give extra electricity without extra cost to them. As a business man, we are certain that you appreciate this very clear situation becaase we can deliver the extra amount at fittle additional expense so long as we can be assured of our present costs—such as taxes, in terest, production and general expense. MOTHER’S DREAMS COME TRUE -V^V^OVJOH plan Unusual Plan Gives Use of 40% to 100% Extra Electricity With out Extra Cost PROVIDED YOU USE AS MUCH ELECTRIC ITY IN DOLLARS AND CENTS AS SAME MONTH LAST YEAR AND USE MINIMUM OF 16 KILOWATT HOURS EXTRA New Bargain Rates Applicable When Y Exceed Your No-Extra-Cost Allotr^i Perhaps you will say, “Suppose I use so much more electricity that I use up my no-extra-cost allotment? What happens then?” We thought you’d wonder about that. And we have taken care of it completely so that you don’t need to worry about it for a minute. The minute you exceed your no-extra-cost allotment, your en tire bill is re-figured at the new and DRASTICALLY REDUCED BARGAIN RATES Understand, please, it isn’t only your excess that is figfured at these amazingly small rates. But the entire amount of electricity that you use costs you very little because of these reductions. The no-extra-cost electricity is yours to use. The sooner you begin benefiting from it and mak ing the most of it, the sooner you will beg'n enjoy ing all that you are entitled to under the new rate. We want to give you a considerable amount of extra electricity at no extra cost whatever, to allow you to enjoy many new added conveniences. Do you believe there must be a “catch” in this no-extra cost electricity plan? There really isn’t! It’s just like your grocer saying, “If you buy two pounds of coffee, I’ll give you a pound of sugar free.” If the electricity you use this year amounts to as much as last year’s, we cam afford to allow you a proportionate extra amount without cost. So now we say to you, “If you use just the saune amount of electricity in dol lars and cents as you did for the same month last year, (provided you used as much as 16 KWH) you may enjoy the benefits of an extra amount of elec tricity without extra cost to you. Indeed, the extra amount for your use may be as much as 100% more — depending entirely on the amount of electricity you have used in the past.’* This no-extra-cost electricity is a true boon to you. Now you can have some of the electric servants auid comforts that you’ve long desired, be cause their use day in and day out won’t cost you a penny extra. Here is a little chart that shows graphically how the no - extra - cost electricity plan will work for you. 3 1C per KWH for 2 1st 50 KWH A Charge of $1 per> Customer and • • • lie p. |2 all add’^ liV/H 3C per KWH for OC per KWH for |1C per KWH ?or next 50 KWH L next 150 KWH Our representative will call and explain carefully just how you, personally can enjoy extra electricity in your home at no extra cost.
