Mrs. J. M. Tyson, who spent a
number of w'eeks with her daughter in
Carthage while convalescing from an
operation which she underwent soon
after Christmas, was able to return
to her home here on Friday night,
but she has been quite uncomfortable
a part of the time since coming home.

held at the Vass Methodist Church
Sunday morning with members of the
three congregations in Vass attend
ing. Prior to the sermon. Clary
Thompson, one of the community’s fine
young men who is now a student at
Campbell College, was admitted into
church membership, and members of
the community young people’s choir
sang a special Easter song. The Rev.
Leon M. Hall, the pastor, preached an
Easter sermon of unusual appeal and
interest.
