And, we are putting*our chips on Sherwln-Wiiliams Paints and Varnishes Expert opinion and experience PROVE S-W Quality Paint more than pays for itself. Quality in paint means performance, per formance as you brush it onto your house, per formance as the weather gnaws at it, or as your feet wear it down and as you wash off the grime. Qualit.ii in paint means that the finish is best suited to the surface and the wear it gets. You are always money ahead by purchasing quality paints. The cost may be higher for a quart or a gallon, but this difference is more than made up bj'# its “going farther,” through longer service, better protection, finer appearance and in .vour satisfaction. Sherwin-Williams Won the Race Pinehurst Warehouses, Inc. Pinehurst, N. C. YOU DONT HAVE TO "BREAK IN THE FORD V-8 Yon can drive it 50 miles an hour the day you buy it The Fobd V-8 is ready for normal driving when you buy it. There is no tedious period of breaking-in for 500 or 1000 miles. You can drive it up to 50 miles an hour the first day. And after the first hundred miles yon can drive it as fast as you desire. That means greater motoring enjoyment for every motorist. It is especially important to motorists who are thinking about a new car for a vacation trip — to physicians, salesmen and all those who use a car for business. In stead of dragging along at slow speeds for days, yeu can make good time from the start. The reason for this is a» important as the rcsuh. The Ford V-8 needs no breaking-ia because of unusual accuracy in the manufac ture of moving parts and the smoothness of bearing surfaces. Clearances are correct when you buy the car. It is not necessary to depend on a long wearing-in period to eliminate tight ness and insure smooth running. Longer life, greater economy and better performance are bound to result from such precision methods. The Ford V-8 gives you fine-car construction, along with fine-car performance, comfort, safety and beauty. FORD V'8 lir-i r.«- - ....Aifc.
