"Ol” Bean, the alleged murderer, was arrestd and placed under bond of $2,000. The shooting occurred in the ex treme upper part of Moore county near the Randolph and Montgomery lines. Reports are tc- the effect that the men had had trouble earlier in the evening over a liquor d bt and that Comer went to Bean’s place place about 7 ;00 o’clock on the night of December 29th carrying a shot gun. Just what occurred immediate ly preceding the shooting has not been brought out. A ■ coroner’s in quest was not deemed necessary as Mr. and Mrs. R.
