There will be a business meeting
at the Civic Club today, Friday, for
members only, followed by tea, and
there will be matters of importance
to be acted upon.
N«xt week on Friday at 3:00
o’clock, Mrs. Thomas McGraw of
Aberdeen will give a reading from
one of Barrie’s books, and those who
have heard Mrs. McGraw are looking
forward to another great pleasure.
There will also be a group of Scotch
songs, and all visitors are invitei to
attend and join with the members.

ney General Philip Lutz, Jr., of In
diana, a frequent guest in the Sand
hills during the winter, made at the
grave of Lincoln’s mother, in which
he glowingly eulogized both Nancy
Hanks Lincoln and her illustrious
son, was read to members of the Ki-
wanis Club of Aberdeen on Wednes
day by Willard L. Dunlop of Pine-
hurst. The meeting was held in the
Aberdeen Community House and the
