The election of officers was the main busines.s transaction by the I Presbyterian auxiliary when it met last week at the home of Mrs. B. H. Wood, with Mrs. N. N. McLean pre siding. The Presbyterian Young People’s Council met on Wednesday evening at the home of Mrs. N. N. McLean and held its election of officers. Henry Paiker was chosen to succeed Miss Mary Frank McMillan as president; Miss Myrtle McMillan was elected vice-president; Miss Agnes Smith, ’ treasurer, and Miss Marian McMillan, secretary. Tonight, Friday, will be stunt night at the V'ass-Lakeview school and the proceeds will be for the benefit of the junior class. AChocolate Wed ding, a minstrel show and a play let, “Here Comes the Bride,” will be a part of the entertainment offered f^r the small admission fees of 10 and 20 cents. Herman Parker arrived Sunday from Chapel Hill to spend the spring holiday season with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Parker. Mrs. H. C.
