DRAMATIC CLUB IN
ST.ATE FINALS TONIGHT
The Southern Pines Dramatic Club
will compote tonight in the State
Dramatic contest at the Carolina
Playmakers’ Theatre in Chapel Hill.
This contest is an annual affair in
which the winners of the various dis
tricts participate. After winning the
district contest in Fayetteville, the lo
cals have a splendid chance for gain
ing the State championship for the
third consecutive year.
Mrs. Morris was seeking to recover
$7,000, double the alleged usurious in
terest she claimed she paid on a loan
from the finance company. The court,
however, did not go into the merits
of the litigation after learning that
two years had passed since the inter
est in question wa.s paid.
The plaintiff gave notive of appeal
to the Supreme Court.
